Vibration supports of the 954202-954203 series Silentflex® consist of an upper plate, a base with four mounting holes and a threaded rod. The damper is made of cast iron with the application of a special high-strength protective layer of paint that prevents the negative effects of aggressive media. 

The elastic element is an all-metal cushion made of stainless steel wire. The number of pillows depends on the vibration isolator model:

• two metal pillows for models 954202 and 954203;
• three metal cushions for models 954202D and 954203D to reduce stiffness.

The natural frequency from 11 to 22 Hz allows using these vibration dampers as a support for:

— Heavy production equipment (industrial mills, crushers, printing and textile machines);

— Rotating machines (engines, generators, pumps, etc.) with a rotation speed of more than 2000 rpm for models 954202 and 954203D and more than 2500 rpm for models 954202 and 954202D;

— Overhead cranes (metal structures, cabins, equipment). 

Vibration supports 954202-954203 series differ by their equal frequency characteristics and the «anti-rebound» system», provided by metal cushions, and therefore are ideal for use as an engine support on board ships and vehicles. The operating temperature range from — 70 °C to + 300 °C also allows the use of vibration supports for insulation of exhaust manifolds.
