Description of the vibration support

The Vibralock locking washer does not loosen during vibration, as it is a bolt locking system that uses modern technologies that provide a more reliable locking system. 

Vibralock locking wedge washer prevents self-unscrewing by fixing the bolted connection with tension, not friction, in accordance with the DIN 25201 standard. Unlike traditional fixation methods, Vibralock locking technology applies a pre-tightening force to the joint.

Vibralock wedge washer consists of two identical flat washers with wedge-shaped protrusions on one side and radial corrugation (teeth) on the other side. Thus, the pre-tightening force increases even with a slight turn in the direction of unwinding, which ensures reliable fixation of the threaded connection even under strong dynamic loads and vibrations.

The effectiveness of Silentflex® locking wedge washers has been proven by laboratory studies. Vibralock washers have successfully passed the most demanding vibration test for bolted connections – Junker vibration test.
